What is a B&B

A Bed and Breakfast (B&B) is an informal type of tourist accommodation. It is a family-run activity, managed by private individuals within their own home — the place where they normally live. Most B&Bs are run by families who enjoy welcoming travelers and offering them overnight accommodation and breakfast.
This way of traveling allows guests to experience a more genuine stay, getting in touch with local people and traditions, and creates a truly unique experience.

Dear Guests, welcome to Banari and to our home, B&B S’Asilo.
We wish you a pleasant and enjoyable stay and would like to share a few guidelines that we are sure you will appreciate:

  • Upon arrival, guests are required to present a valid ID (passport, ID card, driving licence; for minors, a birth certificate).

  • Room and bathroom cleaning is carried out every two days (daily cleaning is available on request for an extra charge). For this reason, we kindly ask guests to vacate the room around 10:00–10:30 a.m.

  • Out of respect for nature and the environment, we kindly ask you to request towel changes only when they actually need to be replaced.

  • The air conditioning system is centrally controlled. You may turn it on and off using the dedicated button, but we kindly ask you not to adjust any other settings to avoid malfunctions.

  • Breakfast is served in the living area between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m., according to the time agreed upon at check-in.

  • The garden and the whirlpool pool are available during breakfast hours and from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
    We kindly ask you to let us know in advance if you plan to spend the day in the garden, so we can organize accordingly and ensure the pool is properly prepared.

  • Smoking is not permitted inside the rooms.

  • Only registered guests are allowed on the property; outside visitors are not permitted.

  • Guests are kindly requested to treat all areas of the house with care and respect, both private and shared spaces.

  • Please maintain a considerate behavior at all times, so as not to disturb the peace and quiet of others.

  • Please note that the rooms are not equipped with safes. We therefore advise you not to leave valuables unattended in the rooms or common areas. B&B S’Asilo cannot be held responsible for loss, theft, or damage resulting from failure to comply with this rule.

  • Check-out is by 10:00 a.m. to allow for final cleaning. Should you have special needs, a different check-out time may be arranged with the owners at the time of booking or upon arrival.

RULES FOR PETS AND THEIR HUMANS

We believe there is no bond more special than the one we share with our animals.
They become part of our lives, part of our families, and therefore part of our community. And—as we all know—living well together means having a few rules.

For this reason, to ensure a peaceful and enjoyable stay for everyone, we kindly ask you to follow the guidelines below:

ADMISSION TO THE PROPERTY:

All domestic pets are welcome, including guide dogs and animals living with guests for therapeutic purposes.

Pets are admitted only upon prior request, either verbal or written, and subject to approval by the property owner after careful evaluation. This is mainly due to the following reasons:

  • As we are a small property, it may not always be possible to accommodate multiple guests traveling with pets at the same time.

  • It is not always possible to host large animals or animals other than dogs and cats. Both pets and their owners must be calm and well behaved, in order to avoid causing discomfort to other guests or damage to the property, which contains antique furniture, valuable items, and works of art.

  • In particular, cats are only admitted if kept inside their carrier for the entire duration of the stay, as their natural tendency to climb makes it impossible to ensure proper cleaning of the rooms.

If guests arrive at the property without having made the required prior request (verbal or written) to bring their pet, they will not be allowed to stay.

Pet owners accept full civil and criminal liability for any damage caused by their animals to people or property.

INSIDE THE ROOM:

  • Owners must be properly equipped to ensure their pet’s well-being, including carriers, travel beds, blankets, and any other necessary items.

  • If any essential accessory is missing, the use of room furnishings or bedding as a substitute is strictly prohibited. We are always happy to help—please let us know if you have specific needs and we will do our best to assist you.

  • Pets are strictly not allowed on beds, armchairs, chairs, tables, or any other furniture.

  • Pets must never be left alone and unattended in the room. Being in an unfamiliar environment may cause stress, which can be harmful to them and disruptive to others, leading to continuous barking, meowing, or unwanted behavior (such as damaging items or soiling the room).

  • Owners are responsible for asking the management where their pet may relieve itself. This is never permitted inside rooms or common areas.

  • A pet fee of €10.00 per night applies, due to the need for more thorough cleaning and to meet any specific needs of our furry guest.

  • For safety reasons and for the comfort of your pet, staff will not clean the room if the animal has been left unattended inside, despite the explicit prohibition. Please contact the management to arrange a suitable time for room cleaning.

  •  

IN COMMON AREAS:

  • In all common areas, pets must be kept on a leash or inside their carrier.

  • Pets are strictly not allowed on sofas, armchairs, chairs, tables, or other furnishings.

  • Access to the breakfast room and the garden with your pet is allowed only by prior agreement with the management, in order to avoid inconvenience to other guests. During the summer season, when breakfast is served outdoors in the garden, this request is generally easier to accommodate.

  • When staying in common areas with your pet, please always carry a leash and a muzzle, to be used if necessary.
